The auditionee's post:
Having paid off a stallion to pull her signature carriage, a certain cyan Unicorn stayed sheltered within the pulled stage-wagon, all her surprises and everything loaded through yet another cycle of illusionary magic to impress everypony who saw her. Trixie knew that her old tricks wouldn't work, and that her name had somewhat of a 'knife' in her reputation. But oh, that wouldn't stop her. Upon arriving in the center of town, knowing full well that Ponyville would be the best bet in impressing everypony, she waited a few seconds to shoo off her carriage-puller. Once that was dealt with, the mare donned her favorite cape and hat, and took a deep breath. "It's just like all the others, Trixie, it's alright if they recognize you, you're going to make sure they /remember/ you this time!" With that, she used her magic to blast open the display, unfolding her home-transportation into a stage. "Come one! Come all! Come to the place you've all been waiting to find, come to the Great and Powerful Trixie!" She announced, magically amplifying her voice for all to hear. Despite everything she had done, there was always the younger colts watching fervently for her illusion tricks and becoming fans within seconds. It was the adults - especially unicorns - who were usually weary of her antics. "That's right Ponyville, you're #1 Unicorn is here to stay! For the Great and Powerful Trixie has realized she bears no need for an amulet, no! Nor does she need anypony to tell her how limited her power can be! I've travelled outside of Equestria since we last met, and I'll tell you now, dear ponies, I've seen things that even your imagination could not spark!" This advertisement followed in a magical display of creatures and 'battles' fought out by the fringe of her imagination, not willing to admit that she /actually/ spent that time gathering up bits to come back here. "Come forth and witness the NEW Great and Powerful Trixie!"

[10:14:04 PM] Twilight: Twilight made her way down the stairs of the library, gently balancing a stack of books with her magic as she worked her way through the cozy tree. The now princess of Equestria did her best to stay on the downlow here in Ponyville when she stayed. It wasnt very amusing when the cameracolts from Canterlot followed her to her more scenic home. Twilight enjoyed her time away from Canterlot as much as she dared, having loving friends and wonderful ponies to meet every day. It was certainly nice to get away from the castle and all the pomp and circumstance, especially when she was never quite used to it in the first place. Twilight was about to set the books down when a familiar voice was amplified throughout the town. The stack of books toppled over in a pile as she winced from the rattling of the shelves. Twilight sighed heavily as she organized her books again and set them aside for Spike to put away tomorrow. "Oh wonderful... Trixie has returned again." She sighed as she opened up the door to the library and made her way out into town. Now it wasnt something that Twilight had been expecting, nor was it something that Twilight was really looking forward to. Overall, Twilight simply wished that nothing extravagantly ridiculous would happen this time. It had been far too complicated and painful to deal with Trixie the last time, and if Trixie was so sure she could come back again to Ponyville without the entire town forcibly removing her, then she must certainly have some new astounding tricks up her metaphorical sleeves. Twilight, always the interested, made her way to the center of town where the stage was set and made her way through the crowd, trying her best not to call attention to the fact that she was now an alicorn princess. Twilight wore no adornments, and her wings stuck tight to her sides as she weaved her way through the audience to the front of the crowd, politely curious of Trixie's new tricks.
Their affirmation:
While discussing her travels to 'exotic and foreign nations', Trixie would unveil a red curtain which appeared behind her, showing off golden trophies of various shapes. "These are but my favorite collection of my awards for fending off many a-foe. Oh! This one....yes, this one..." The centermost trophy - carved to look like Trixie standing over another pony - began to levitate towards the mare. "Trixie encountered a strange fellow, one who challenged her to a battle...." She paused for dramatic effect, "A battle to the death! Gasp! Trixie was not afraid, no, Trixie accepted this duel. For the pony was the dreaded Pirate leader from Somareia! This man had been a tyrant, ruling over the ponies in an iron hoof! But Trixie is not stupid, she would not fight in direct combat, especially when she knew he was leading her into a trap. Even if Trixie could best him one on one, he wanted to ensure victory by tricking Trixie. So I snuck into his room late at night, past all his many traps, and guards. When I arrived, the Great and Stealthy Trixie magically enchanted part of his morning routine..." The actual details of what happened weren't really worth discussing...especially with foals in the mix of the crowd. It was then that her eyes lay upon a certain Unicorn. One that she could recognize anywhere. "Aaha! And like that, the Great and GENEROUS Trixie used that enchantment to make him a full breakfast, convincing both him and the other ponies that being mean is terrible." A wide grin spread across her face while she deposited the trophy, one held up as part of the act. "And would we look here! It seems Ponyville's resident hero, Twilight, has graced her with our presence." She bowed in a half-mockery, only now realizing that the crowd spread out from Twilight to also bow, where Trixie spotted the wings. She held up with the statement, turning her tone from sarcastic mockery to a genuine sentiment. "Would the good student of Celestia like to show off just what she has learned?"
